Another option is the Chromo Inc 7" Tablet, $124 off from it's initial listing price of $169.99. Despite its initial high listing price, it sports most of the same stats as the $50 tablets.
It comes with a 1.3MP camera, 4GB of memory, 512MB of Ram, a 1GHz dual-core processor and Android 4.1.3.

That's amazing how as technology advances, the price point becomes more accessible to the masses. I remember my Dad saying calculators which you can now find at the Dollar Store were selling for thousands of dollars when they first came out. Tablets to follow....
